Story:
Maayai is special for he has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues and plays the hero. Sanjay, Sanam, Manobala, Rajkapoor, Nan Kadavul Rajendran, Fathima Babu, Cheranraj and Kajal form the supporting cast. J Raj has composed the music, while Manish has done the background score. Mohan Raj has written the lyrics.
STORY Maayai is all about one-sided love and the impact it has on the protagonist’s life. A double hero subject, it speaks about deceit, friendship and of course inter-personal relationships. Since it falls under thriller genre, the filmmaker has cautiously avoided too many songs since he feels it would put a brake on the movie's progress. There is a solo song in the film.PerformanceKannan has given his heart-out. The movie has him doing one to many things and it does have an ipact on his onscreen performance.
